Attendance
If for some reason your child is unable to attend a Nursery session please let us know as soon as possible, either by ringing the School Office on 01392 467984 or e-mailing us at pinhoe-office@cedartreefederation.org. This includes any Doctors/Dentist/Hospital appointments, sickness and holidays etc.
If your child is absent (other than illness), we ask that you fill in an S2 form before the absence. This is really important evidence as proof of your child’s non-attendance for the funding entitlement. Please let us know in good time if you are going away on holiday during term time.
You can download an S2 form below
Please note that if you are in receipt of the Early Years Entitlement that you must send your child to all the sessions that you are claiming payment for, unless your child is unwell or you are on holiday. When you sign the form you are entering into a contract with Devon County Council and any lack of attendance has financial consequences. For more details please see the child information form.
